April Favourites!

Hello everyone, today I am going to share with you my 5 April favourites... I can't believe how quick April went!

My first favourite of this month is the Batiste Dry Shampoo in Tropical £4.99. I usually wash my hair on a daily basis but this month I have been washing my hair every other day over the weekends and any days I have had off as this product comes in handy to refresh my hair in between washes! I love the coconut scent it has and it leaves my hair looking less oily, doesn't really add any volume but has been great for keeping my hair going when I don't wash it!

Next I have been loving the Fashion nails from Primark £1. The pair I have used this month are the pastel purple ones in the picture above as they are perfect for this time of the year with it being spring/summer time! Even though they are only stick on's if lucky I can get them to last for up to a week and for only £1, that is great!

Next I have also been loving the L'Oreal Infalliable 24hr Matte Foundation £7.99. I have literally been using this product EVERYDAY in April! I suffer with oily skin and this product leaves a matte finish after applied unlike a lot of other foundations, I wouldn't say it keeps your skin Matte all day but used in conjunction with other products for oily skin, this product works great and having used this foundation in the shade Porcelain, I can confirm that it is light enough for people with pale skin!

Another beauty favourite I have this month, is the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer  £4.19. I'm a bit late on jumping on the bandwagon when it comes to this product but after buying it, I've been loving it! It products a good amount of coverage under my eyes without being 'cakey' and it lasts well throughout the day.

My last favourite of the month are the new Cafe Culture scented candles from Yankee Candle From £1.49. There are three new scents in the range Tarte Tatin, Cappuccino Truffle and Pain Au Raisin! I love all of the candles from Yankee anyway but this month I have been loving the new Tarte Tatin scent in particular, I don't typically like apple scented things but this candle smells just like the real thing and i love it!

Cocoa Brown Faketan | Review

Today I have two products from the brand Cocoa Brown to review, one is the Cocoa Brown '1 Hour Tan' and the other is Cocoa Brown 'Lovely Legs'. Until recently I had never tried any products from Cocoa Brown, despite seeing them in my local Primark and being a fake tan user.
Firstly I have the Cocoa Brown '1 Hour Tan Mousse'* £7.99
When it comes to the application of this product, it's really easy! Simply by shaking the bottle, squirting a small amount onto a tanning mitt (such as the 'Self Tan Applicator Mitt'* £3.99 from Cocoa Brown) then use sweeping motions to apply, it couldn't be any simpler!
For anyone who doesn't like the 'biscuit' smell fake tans usually have, this tan is for you! The first thing I noticed when using the tan was the fresh, floral scent which was lovely!
The tan can be left on for 1 hour for a light glow, 2 hours for a medium tan and 3 hours if a deeper colour is preferred!
I left the tan on for 3 hours before washing it off which left a natural glow to my skin, almost a real sun tan finish rather than a fake tan finish which is great!

For anyone who would prefer a darker finish from their tan, Cocoa Brown have now released the same tan but in a 'Dark' version and can be found online Here

Lastly I have Cocoa Brown 'Lovely Legs'* £7.99. This product
isn't like the 1 hour tan which needs to develop, 'Lovely Legs' is an instant wash off tan.

This product is used by Shaking for 20 seconds, spraying onto a tanning mitt and then buffing into skin which is really easy!
This tan has the same floral scent of the 1 hour tan but isn't quite as noticeable.
The tan gives a darker colour than the one hour tan but still looks really natural even though on the picture above it does look slightly orangey, I promise it isn't!

The great thing about this tan is that there isn't any commitment so is perfect for beginners!

The whole range of Cocoa brown products can be found on the website here at http://www.cocoabrown.ie along with tanning tips and other great bits!
Cocoa Brown caN be found at Primark, superdrug and is now being sold in over 800 tesco stores over the uk! If you are in the USA it has recently been launched there too!

5 Nail colours for spring/summer!

With the weather warming up not only will our wardrobes be changing, so will our nail colour. Out go the dark winter shades and in come brighter pastel colours.
Below are my 5 top colours for spring/summer...
First I have chosen this nail varnish by Barry M, this is their 'Hi Shine Gelly Nail Paint' in the colour 'key Lime' £3.99. This reminds me of fresh green grass and is a nice bright colour perfect for spring and summer! Also this nail varnish has a great coverage even after only one coat.
Next I have chosen this nail varnish by Models Own, this is one of their 'HyperGel' varnishes in the colour 'Lilac Sheen' £4.99. This is a pretty pastel purple! The formula of the nail varnish is quite thin, but very build able.
Next I have chosen this nail varnish by Mua, in the colour 'Bold Blue' £1. This is a pale blue colour, this nail varnish is really affordable for only £1 although it has a thinner consistency and chips easily so does need a base and top coat to make it last longer.
Next I have chosen another nail varnish by Models Own from their 'HyperGel' collection in the colour 'Cornflower Glea' £4.99. This looks fairly similar to the Mua nail varnish above but this nail varnish is more of a purple/blue colour!

Lastly I have another nail varnish by Barry M from their 'Hi Shine Gelly Nail Paint' in the colour 'Papaya' £3.99. This nail varnish is  a peachy pink colour, almost reminds me of something like raspberry sorbet or ice cream... Perfect in the summer sun!

Overall these are my 5 spring/summer nail recommendations...
Are there any here that you like or do you have any you would recommend?

Sunkissed 60 Minute Rapid Tan | Review

With the summer weather just around the corner, there's nothing better than having a bronzed glow. However not being keen on sitting in the sun for hours to achieve it, I like to use something like the 'Sunkissed 60 Minute Rapid Tan'* £4.99

The Sunkissed 60 Minute Rapid Tan develops within just 60 minutes but will continue to develop, the longer it's left on.
The tan is an easy to apply foam which is best applied with the 'Sunkissed Application Mitt' £3.99 to give an even coverage. It's quick drying formula means you don't have to wait around for it to dry before getting dressed.

It has a really moisturising effect on the skin and a lovely coconut scent, I could only smell the fake tan scent when showering but it didn't put me off the product at all.

Above is a picture of before and after applying the tan and as you can see it gives a really natural bronzed glow to the skin without looking 'fake' or 'orange'. Overall I'm really impressed!

This product works well for people who have fake tanned before or even newbies.
Some Tanning Tips can be found Here along with the rest of the Sunkissed range.
